Morris Mesa Playground

Next to the Cross Bronx Expressway between Morris Avenue and the Grand Concourse, Morris Mesa is a pocket-sized green space in the heart of the Bronx. It's one of 44 park parcels that came into existence when the New York City Department of Parks acquired land during the construction of the Cross-Bronx Expressway back in the mid-20th century.
