A notable feature is Chandler's first official bike park. With over four miles of trails that range from "I'm just getting started" to "watch me fly," cyclists of all levels can find their happy place.

Bike enthusiasts will appreciate the park's impressive features - a jump box, double roller, molehill, Hubba ledge, and even a vertical surface that towers higher than your average basketball hoop. Many locals consider it one of the Phoenix Metro's best bike parks, especially for BMX riders. The concrete offers great grip since it hasn't been smoothed out by skateboards - a small detail that makes a big difference when you're riding.

Water Features

When Arizona brings the heat (and you know it will), the spray pad becomes everyone's best friend. This area features a water tower, three candy cane-shaped showers, four spray rings, and ground sprays that kids particularly enjoy.

The splash pad is a hit with families with younger children. Just press the blue handprint button to activate the water, which cycles between different stations. You'll discover it running from May through August, 9 AM to 7 PM - prime time for cooling off during those scorching summer months.

Sports Amenities

Ball players haven't been forgotten, with three lighted baseball and softball fields ready for action. The covered seating areas provide spectators with shade while watching games.

Along with the bike park, there's a skatepark that draws locals looking to practice their tricks. While it was designed with BMX riders in mind, skateboarders make it work too, however some features might present more of a challenge for those on boards.

The large covered playground offers welcome shade during sunny Arizona afternoons. With equipment suitable for different age groups arranged in a circular pattern, kids can play while staying protected from the harsh sun.

Spread around the park, you'll discover multiple shaded picnic areas with tables and several covered ramadas that even come with power outlets. These spots are excellent for family gatherings or just taking a breather while keeping an eye on the little ones.

Beyond the attractions, Espee Park offers some genuinely peaceful moments with its sprawling green lawns, mature trees, and colorful flower beds. The space transforms all year long to host community events - from outdoor concerts and movie nights to picnics and festivals.

Getting around is easy with plenty of parking and clean restrooms located near the playground and splash pad. The park welcomes visitors daily from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer.
