About Dust Devil Park
Recreational Spaces & Sports
Situated in Glendale, Dust Devil Park offers plenty of green open spaces where you can spread out a blanket, toss a frisbee, or just lounge around soaking up some vitamin D. If you're into skateboarding, the park's skate plaza is worth checking out. It's thoughtfully designed with a handrail with stairset, various ledges and hubbas, a cool pyramid, and transitions that create a natural flow that'll keep you riding smoothly throughout your session.
Ball out on the well-kept basketball court where local players often gather for pickup games or solo practice. Looking to get your heart rate up? The park features six exercise stations along a dedicated path, meant for adding some variety to your outdoor workout routine instead of being cooped up in a gym.
Family Fun & Amenities
Got kids? Dust Devil Park offers two playground areas - one for the little ones and another for older children. Both areas offer shaded spaces, so you won't have to worry about the Arizona sun being too harsh during playtime. The wheelchair-accessible playground ensures that children of all abilities can join in the fun.
When summer temperatures climb, the park's splash pad becomes a popular spot to cool down. While not huge, this water feature provides a refreshing escape from the heat and typically runs from late May through October 1st.
Planning a gathering? Several shaded ramadas with charcoal grills make this an ideal spot for birthday parties, family reunions, or just a weekend cookout with friends. You can reserve these covered areas for special occasions, giving you a guaranteed spot to host your event. Throughout this 30-acre space, you'll find plenty of trash and recycling bins keeping the park clean and inviting.
