If those areas are occupied, there's also a picnic table on the south side (though without covering), or you can always go the traditional route with a blanket on the grass. The park's ample green space provides plenty of room for improvised picnic spots.

Visitor Information

You'll come across a drinking fountain near the basketball court to help you stay hydrated during your visit. One important thing to note: Sunnyside Park doesn't have public restrooms, so plan accordingly before spending extended time here.

Dog lovers can bring their four-legged friends along (on leash, of course), but do remember to clean up after your pet to keep the park enjoyable for everyone.
