If you're bringing the kids along, they'll love the modern playground area. It features two jungle gyms for climbing adventures and two sets of swings for those who prefer to soar. The race car-themed play equipment added during the 2017 renovation is particularly eye-catching and tends to be a hit with the younger crowd.

For the more sports-minded visitors, there's a basketball court where you can shoot some hoops and a volleyball court for those who prefer team play. One standout feature is the outdoor handball court - something you don't find at every park, which gives Walnut Grove a bit of unique character.
