About the Location

Natural Beauty Spot

Nestled between the Santa Ana River and Cleveland National Forest, River Road Park stretches across 5 acres of Corona, California. We're always struck by the breathtaking views of Southern California's natural landscape whenever we visit this compact park.

It's super accessible for Corona residents and those living nearby, however heads up - the parking lot is on the smaller side, so you might want to plan accordingly.

What to Do

This park is where people gather for all sorts of activities throughout the year. You can enjoy active recreation or just some peaceful downtime.

One of our favorite things to do is simply stroll through the grounds, crossing the small walking bridge and finding a shady spot under one of the many trees that offer welcome relief on those sunny SoCal days.

Kid Zone

The playground area keeps the little ones entertained, but it's worth mentioning that the equipment has seen better days - some faded colors and rust spots show its age, but everything remains perfectly safe and functional.

The play area uses wood chips as safety surfacing, which works well enough. You can find plenty of benches surrounding the playground where you can relax while keeping an eye on the kids as they play.

What's Available

You'll come across picnic tables dotted within the grounds, creating nice spots for outdoor meals. The overall environment is pleasant for family visits, sports, or just outdoor relaxation.

Note that while there are restroom facilities, they're typically locked unless you have a reservation. Also, don't count on the drinking fountains always working - bringing your own water is definitely a good idea, especially when it's hot out.

The Vibe

There's something wonderfully peaceful about River Road Park. Locals often describe it as a quiet, nice place that really shines as a family destination. Even during warmer months, those abundant shade trees make hanging out comfortable.

With its tranquil setting, the park creates an excellent backdrop for picnics and casual get-togethers with the people you care about.
