Recreational Facilities

Spanning 46.6 acres, this large community park offers a diverse range of recreational facilities and activities for residents and visitors. The park's main entrance is situated at the intersection of West Texas Street and 5th Street.

One of the park's notable features is the Fairfield Sports Center, which includes an aquatics complex. The aquatics facility boasts a natatorium with a retractable roof, providing year-round swimming opportunities.

Water Activities

The aquatics complex contains a zero-depth entry play area, a lazy river current for both fun and exercise, and a six-lane activity pool equipped with a slide and diving board.

Sports Amenities

For sports enthusiasts, Allan Witt Park offers multiple fields and courts. The park includes baseball fields, softball fields, little league fields, tennis courts, and basketball courts.

There are four softball fields throughout the park, with fields 1 and 2 featuring lights for night games. The Allan Witt Baseball Field #5, located on the back side of the park off Woolner Street, is a full-sized, fenced field with bleachers.

Additional Attractions

The park also features the City of Fairfield Rotary Skate Park, catering to skateboarding enthusiasts. For younger visitors, there are two playgrounds within the park grounds.

Community Spaces

Allan Witt Park provides ample space for community gatherings and leisure activities. It includes large grassy areas, group and individual picnic areas (which can be reserved), and barbecue facilities.

The park's layout allows for various outdoor activities and events. While offering numerous recreational facilities, it's worth noting that there are no public restrooms available at this location.
