About the Location
Splash & Swim
Miller Park is home to not one, but two swimming pools - a standard-sized pool for serious swimmers and a playful dolphin-shaped smaller pool that's well-suited for the little ones. You get the fun of swimming without having to deal with sand.
The pools are open to the public for a reasonable fee, making it a budget-friendly way to cool off when the California sun is doing its thing.
Get Your Sweat On
The Miller Fitness Center offers workout equipment, locker rooms with showers, and four racquetball courts. It's open six days a week with wallet-friendly daily and monthly rates for adults and seniors.
The racquetball courts were recently renovated and are available for an extra fee. Everything is well-maintained and clean.
Community Vibes
The park's amphitheater is where Fontana comes together for events that bring the community spirit. During summer, you can catch the Summer Concert Series on Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM. Grab a blanket, bring some snacks, and enjoy tribute bands and musical performances under the stars.
On the west side of the park stands the Fontana Veterans Memorial, a thoughtful tribute to service members who served in conflicts from World War I to Vietnam. It's a quiet place to reflect on sacrifice and service.
Kid Paradise
Miller Park has excellent options for children with energy to spare. There are two playgrounds, with the larger one freshly renovated in July 2018. This play zone features a rope wall, slides, rock climbing challenges, spinning chairs, monkey bars, ramps, and interactive games.
Safety first: the playground surfaces are a mix of rubber and wood chips to cushion any tumbles. Many locals consider this playground one of the best around - it's especially great for children between 1-10 years old.
Green & Serene
Tall, leafy trees dot the landscape, creating welcome pockets of shade that make even hot summer days bearable. The green spaces invite you to spread out a blanket, maybe crack open a good book, or just watch the clouds drift by.
During summer break, the park sometimes offers free lunch programs for children - a thoughtful touch for families in the community.
Finding Your Way
This 5-acre public park sits near the Fontana Lewis Library and Technology Center, making it a central hub for recreation in the neighborhood.
Parking is generally accessible. Spaces are available off Wheeler Avenue, Seville Avenue, and near the Miller Fitness Center. If those fill up, you can always find street parking along Arrow Boulevard.
