History

What is now known as Magnolia Park was once part of the Wakeham family estate until 1962, when Garden Grove City decided to transform this private property into a public space for everyone to enjoy. The Wakeham's former home didn't go to waste - it was thoughtfully converted into a community center, and their swimming pool was given new life as a public amenity.

Spread across 5.9 acres on Magnolia Street, this Garden Grove spot offers a little something for everyone. After its recent remodel, the park strikes that perfect balance between practical recreation spaces and natural beauty. Playground

Community support happens here too, with Narcotics Anonymous and other community meetings typically taking place at noon daily.
