About Eucalyptus Park
A Historic Green Retreat
Found in Irvine, California, Eucalyptus Park offers 2.9 acres of tranquil escape from the everyday hustle. Since opening its gates in 1981, this space has preserved a piece of local history through the row of mature eucalyptus trees lining its eastern edge - silent witnesses to the area's past as they once functioned as windbreaks for the orange groves that dominated the landscape.
Make a Splash
At the heart of the park sits a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool that's fantastic for getting in some laps or cooling off during those warm California days. Families with little ones will appreciate the wading pool where the youngest swimmers can safely splash around, while adults might find themselves unwinding in the spa after a long day.
Just a heads-up - the pool area tends to get pretty lively on summer weekends, so you might want to arrive early to claim your spot. If you're bringing children along, keep in mind that some sections of the pool are deeper than 6 feet, so keeping an eye on the kids is definitely a good idea.

Play Your Way
Eucalyptus Park offers activities for various interests. The playground features a unique circular sand pit where imaginations can run wild, plus swings designed for both tiny tots and bigger kids alike.
Got a basketball fan in the family? The half-court basketball area is meant for shooting some hoops or playing a quick pickup game. And there's plenty of open, grassy space that's just right for tossing a frisbee, having a picnic, or simply lying back and cloud-watching on a lazy afternoon.
Gather & Connect
The park includes several features for social gatherings. The covered picnic tables offer a shady spot to enjoy lunch with friends, while the barbecue facilities stand ready for your next cookout.
The park is also home to the Eastwood Community Club and a community hall, creating spaces where neighbors can connect. Clean, well-maintained restrooms round out the amenities - sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference.
With its mix of sunny open areas and shaded spots, Eucalyptus Park accommodates both active recreation and quieter moments outdoors.
