Recreational Facilities

Hicks Canyon Community Park features a playground area with equipment suitable for different age groups. There are two distinct play structures: one designed for children aged 2-5 years old and another for children aged 5-12 years old.

The playground surface is made of recycled rubber, providing a safe environment for children to play. For added safety, the playground area is fenced on the parking lot side to enhance protection for young children.

The park boasts multiple sports facilities, including two lighted soccer fields and two lighted baseball diamonds. These amenities make the park a popular destination for local sports teams and recreational leagues.

One of the park's notable features is the Hicks Canyon Trail, which connects to the Peters Canyon Trail. This pedestrian and bike trail runs under eucalyptus trees and passes through a tunnel beneath Culver Drive.
