Park Overview

Moreno Valley Community Park is a 15-acre public park located in Moreno Valley, California, on Frederick Street. The park serves as a central recreational space for the community, offering a variety of outdoor activities and facilities for residents of all ages.

Athletic Facilities

The park features four soccer fields, providing ample space for both organized sports and casual play. These fields are equipped with stadium lights, allowing for nighttime games and extended use.

Three of the fields measure 330 feet in length, while the fourth is slightly smaller at 300 feet long but narrower than the others. The northern fields are equipped with nets behind the goalposts to prevent balls from rolling into the street.

Children's Play Area

For younger visitors, the park includes a playground area with wood chip surfacing. The playground offers multiple slides, ladders, swings, and other play equipment suitable for children.

Adjacent to the playground, parents can find benches and a shade shelter with a grill for supervision and relaxation.

Picnic Facilities

The park provides picnic areas for community gatherings and family outings. There are four small picnic shelters located in the southern half of the park, each equipped with two picnic tables, a barbecue, and a trash can.

These shelters, numbered 7, 8, 9, and 10, can be reserved for a fee.

Walking Trails

For those seeking exercise, Moreno Valley Community Park features 1.40 miles of walking trails. These paths wind around the soccer fields and connect various areas of the park, offering visitors a pleasant way to enjoy the outdoors and stay active.

Visitors can typically expect higher activity levels in the evenings on weekdays and late nights on weekends, with weekday mornings and early afternoons being less crowded.
