John Landes Park

The John Landes Skatepark is located at the north end of John Landes Park in Oceanside, California. Opened in June 2003, the skatepark is a compact facility designed for skateboarding enthusiasts, operating daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm with free admission.

The skatepark features various elements to cater to different skill levels and styles of skateboarding. These include a flatrail, curb, and manualpad, providing skaters with diverse obstacles to practice and improve their techniques. Additionally, the park incorporates a ledge, expanding the range of skateboarding possibilities.

Constructed with concrete, the John Landes Skatepark offers a durable and versatile surface for skateboarders. The concrete construction ensures longevity and provides a smooth riding experience for users.

As of November 2024, the skatepark is temporarily closed for renovations. The existing skate spot is undergoing improvements, with work expected to take a few months. This remodeling effort aims to revamp and enhance the skating facilities.
