History buffs will appreciate the Glen Avon Heritage Museum, where local artifacts tell the story of the area's rich past. The park also sits along the Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail - a fascinating path that follows in the footsteps of early Spanish explorers who once traversed these lands.

Play & Recreation

Kids have plenty of room to burn energy with two distinct playground areas featuring equipment tailored to different age groups. The swings accommodate both toddlers and older children, and the soft ground surfaces mean parents can worry a little less about tumbles and falls.

When summer temperatures soar, the splash pad becomes the park's main attraction. Open from Memorial Day weekend through September (weather permitting), it's a fantastic spot to cool down. Just a heads-up: shade is limited around the splash pad area, so you might want to pack umbrellas and plenty of sunscreen.

If basketball is your game, you'll find courts ready for a pickup match, while open fields provide space for frisbee, casual soccer, or just lounging on a blanket with a good book. The walking paths weaving through the park offer a peaceful route for a morning stroll or an evening constitutional.

The park welcomes visitors from 8AM to 7PM seven days a week, though sometimes the gates might open a few minutes after the official opening time.
