About Norm Fratis Park
Park Overview
Found in Roseville, California, Norm Fratis Park is a cozy five-acre neighborhood green space that opened its gates in December 2011. The park pays tribute to Norman Francis Fratis, Jr., a dedicated Roseville local who poured his heart into community service throughout his life.
While it might not be massive in size, this peaceful park sits next to an open area, creating a great little haven for neighborhood get-togethers and casual community events.
Recreational Facilities
Despite its modest footprint, the park packs in plenty of fun for everyone. Kids can scramble around the school-aged play area with its climbing structures, while the separate swing area offers two baby swings and two regular swings for both the little ones and older children.
Sports enthusiasts haven't been forgotten either. There's a multi-use turf area where you can kick a ball around, a half-court for basketball for shooting some hoops, and two sand volleyball courts for when you're feeling competitive.
The playground might be on the smaller side - comfortably fitting about 8 children at once - but the field area gives you plenty of room to stretch out and play.

Amenities
Planning a picnic? The park features a covered picnic area with about half a dozen tables sheltered under a shared shade cover. It's a great spot to enjoy a family meal or celebrate special occasions without worrying about getting too much sun.
When nature calls, you can find two restrooms available for all visitors - always a practical feature for families spending a few hours outdoors.
The park has both active recreation spaces and quieter areas, giving you options for exercise or relaxation.
Dog Policy
Though not specifically designated as a dog park, many locals enjoy walking their leashed four-legged friends around the grounds. Before bringing your pup along, take note of the dog rules posted on signs throughout Roseville parks.
Park Information
You can visit Norm Fratis Park from 3 AM to 9 PM daily, giving you plenty of flexibility whether you're an early bird or prefer evening outings.
As one of Roseville's 66 parks, this well-maintained space is a nice green area for nearby residents. The grounds are kept in good shape with regular mowing and trimming, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone who stops by.
