Located in Salinas, California, Mission Park is a charming neighborhood green space that sits right across from Compass Church. It's a tranquil space with plenty of room to breathe and unwind.

What you'll notice right away are the sprawling grass areas that seem to invite you to kick off your shoes and feel the earth beneath your feet. There's something genuinely peaceful about this spot that makes it fantastic for those days when you just need to escape the usual hustle.

The park operates on a simple first-come, first-served basis. You're welcome to use the tables, chairs, and BBQ pits already in the park, but note that bringing your own furniture or cooking equipment isn't allowed.

And heads up if you're planning a celebration - bounce houses are only permitted in certain areas and require a proper permit. They must be set up in specifically designated spots, so it's worth checking with park management beforehand if that's part of your plan.
