The park received a nice upgrade with full artificial turf replacing what used to be a partially dirt surface. Four-legged friends on the smaller side have their own dedicated section, making playtime safer for the little guys. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, showing how popular this space is with local dog owners.

The second section features the Amici Park Amphitheater, a modest outdoor venue that comes alive during events like the Little Italy Summer Film Festival. Watching Italian cinema under the stars on warm Saturday evenings adds a special touch to the park experience.

Rounding out the trio is the area housing the Little Italy Bocce Ball Courts. These well-kept courts honor the neighborhood's Italian roots and regularly attract both serious players and curious newcomers wanting to try their hand at this classic game.

During school hours, Amici Park transforms into an extension of Washington Elementary School next door, filled with the energy and laughter of students at play. Once the school bell rings, it becomes available to everyone else, functioning as a shared community space.

One of the park's highlights is the Saturday food market that brings the space to life with local vendors and community members. It's a popular weekend activity that draws people from across the neighborhood and beyond.
