The park's focal point is the Rancho Bernardo-Glassman Recreation Center, built in 1995 and renamed in 2002 to honor Stuart Glassman - a passionate volunteer who poured his heart into developing recreational opportunities for the community. This center buzzes with indoor activities and year-round programs that bring neighbors together.

Park Features

Wide, open grassy fields stretch beneath the shade of established trees, creating a naturally inviting space for frisbee games and picnic blankets. The thoughtful layout accommodates everything from quiet reflection to active play.

If you have little ones in tow, you'll appreciate the two playgrounds designed with different age groups in mind. The toddler area comes complete with baby swings, while a separate section caters to bigger kids with more adventurous equipment. One playground features a sand surface (beach toys welcome!), while the other uses wood chips - both designed with safety in mind.

The park's large outdoor gazebo acts as a natural gathering spot and provides welcome shade during sunny San Diego days. You'll also find plenty of benches scattered throughout the grounds - well-suited for catching your breath or enjoying a packed lunch.

Sports and Recreation
