The first pool is a 5-lane, 25-yard pool that ranges from 3 to 9 feet deep. The second is a smaller training pool, measuring 20 by 16 feet, with a depth ranging from 0 to 3.5 feet.

These heated pools are accompanied by locker rooms with showers and lockers for visitors' convenience.

Outdoor Recreation

The park boasts spacious outdoor areas. There is a large turfgrass playing field, which is one of the largest in the district.

For those who enjoy picnicking, the park offers multiple picnic areas with tables and BBQ pits. Some of these picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while others can be reserved for larger groups.

Memorial Grove

Martin Luther King Jr. Park is not just a place for recreation, but also for reflection and commemoration. It features a memorial grove dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., which was completed with community support and dedicated in 1993.

The grove consists of a group of trees surrounding a grassy glade, along with a brick wall inscribed with donors' names.
