Friendship Park
About Friendship Park
Neighborhood Play Haven
Tucked away at the corner of Myrtle and Shelley Streets in Santa Ana, Friendship Park is exactly what its name suggests - a friendly little gathering spot for the community. At just 0.09 acres, this pocket park might be small in size, but it's big on purpose, offering a breath of fresh air in the middle of the neighborhood.
The heart of this mini green space is a playground that's excellent for the little ones. Kids can climb, slide, and play to their hearts' content on equipment that's sized just right for younger children. One thing parents will appreciate? The all-rubber surface underneath means fewer scraped knees and safer landings when the excitement of play inevitably leads to tumbles.
A Little Oasis
Despite its compact footprint, Friendship Park serves the local community well. It gives families a place to stretch their legs without having to trek across town. In a busy world, having a little green escape just a short walk from home makes all the difference.
Good to Know
Like all Santa Ana parks, there are some basic rules to keep things running smoothly. The park is meant to be enjoyed as-is, so defacing property is a no-go. You'll need to leave the adult beverages at home (no alcohol allowed), and the same goes for cigarettes and vapes. And while we love our four-legged friends, they'll need to stay on a leash during your visit.
