If you're feeling a bit more active, the half-court basketball area provides a great spot to shoot some hoops or engage in a friendly pickup game with neighbors.

Need a breather? DeMeo's large grass area invites you to kick back and unwind. The park offers four picnic tables and barbecue pits for those weekend family gatherings or casual outdoor meals. Park Design

A wooden picket fence encircles the park (repaired in 2017), giving it a defined, intimate feel while providing an added layer of security for families with young children.

Perhaps the most popular feature is the large mature tree standing near the entrance. This natural landmark has been a climbing favorite for generations of local kids - a living playground that's witnessed decades of laughter and adventure.
