About Knolls Park

Sports Facilities

Knolls Park represents the satellite home for Simi Youth Baseball, with a youth baseball diamond that buzzes with local games and practices. Over the years, the field has been kept in great shape, with some nice recent additions including an outfield fence and a modern scoreboard. Baseball season really brings the neighborhood to life here - and if you get hungry watching the kids play, there's a snack bar that opens during game days.

Playgrounds

Kids have two separate playground areas to choose from, depending on their age. Older children get their own space, while the little ones have a smaller, more manageable play area. Both playgrounds recently got upgrades with new fiber mulch underneath for softer landings. The playground equipment has unique designs that children seem to enjoy.

Pathways

A paved walkway loops around the entire park, making for a great circuit whether you're getting your steps in or just enjoying a leisurely stroll. You'll see plenty of neighbors walking their dogs here, and it's a safe space for kids to cruise around on bikes, skateboards, and scooters. The path is also a nice pit stop if you're on a longer bike ride through the surrounding area.

Amenities

If you're planning to spend some time at Knolls Park, you can find tables and chairs scattered throughout, well-suited for enjoying a packed lunch or gathering with friends for an outdoor meal.

One thing to note: despite what some information sources might say, the park doesn't currently have public restrooms available, according to recent visitors.

Local History

Right next to the park sits Knolls Station, formerly the old Knolls Fire Station, adding a touch of local history to your visit. It's sweet to hear longtime locals share memories of playing T-ball and coach pitch baseball here more than 35 years ago - this park has been bringing people together for generations.

Community Value

For Simi Valley residents, this park offers a little breathing room from everyday life. The park has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. If you're catching a baseball game, watching kids explore the playground, or simply taking a walk around the path, Knolls Park serves different needs for people of all ages in the community.
