The park's centerpiece is a vibrant playground featuring some pretty cool elements, including a massive rope climbing structure that gives older kids a thrilling challenge. Little ones haven't been forgotten - there's a dedicated area with smaller obstacles and a cheerful merry-go-round that never fails to bring smiles.

While the playground isn't completely shaded, tent coverings provide welcome relief from the Colorado sun. The ground is mainly covered with wood chips, although there's a small section with rubber surfacing that makes accessibility a bit easier for everyone.

Inclusive Play Areas

The rubberized section includes an accessible merry-go-round and a fun disc-shaped swing. Throughout the playground, you'll come across various swing options - traditional belt swings, baby swings, a supportive chair swing, and a popular disc swing that's meant for group fun.

Kids of all ages will appreciate the playground's diverse equipment, from slides and climbers to spinners that cater to different abilities and energy levels.

Sports Options

If you're into sports, Central Park offers several options. The park boasts well-maintained tennis courts, pickleball courts (two dedicated ones plus two more painted onto the tennis courts), a full basketball court, and a baseball field for America's favorite pastime.

There's also a generous grassy area that's great for impromptu frisbee games or watching your kite soar. For something a bit different, check out the Gaga Ball court - this increasingly popular game combines dodging, striking, and jumping for a uniquely fun experience.

Park Features & Comfort

For those who prefer a more relaxed visit, the park offers smooth jogging and biking paths that wind through the grounds. Dog owners will appreciate the expansive space for walking their furry friends.

When it's time to refuel, head to the covered pavilion with picnic tables - it's ideal for family gatherings or a casual lunch. There's also a lovely pergola with comfortable benches that provides a panoramic view of the park while you enjoy your meal.

Practical Amenities

You'll come across a single-stall bathroom with a sink and changing table conveniently located near the playground. Just be aware that you might need an access code to use the facilities.

The park is generally clean and well-kept, but on hot summer days, you might wish for more tree coverage. If you're visiting during mosquito season, bringing some repellent along is probably a good idea.
