Temporary Closure Information

Lookout Park and Pool is a seasonal outdoor aquatic facility located in Centennial, Colorado. The pool is managed by the Trails Park and Recreation District (formerly known as Arapahoe Park and Recreation District) and is situated within Lookout Park.

As of 2024, Lookout Park and Pool is currently closed for renovations. The facility, which recently marked its 22nd year of operation, underwent an audit in fall 2023 that highlighted the need for significant upgrades to address aging infrastructure.

Renovation Plans

Due to the substantial investment required for a facility of this age and size, the Trails Park and Recreation District made the decision to suspend operations for the 2024 season.

As of March 2025, the Trails Park and Recreation District has announced plans for a NEW Lookout Pool, with an anticipated opening as early as possible in 2026. This development suggests that the district is actively working on improving and potentially expanding the aquatic offerings at this location.

Previous Amenities

Prior to its closure, Lookout Pool was a popular summer destination for local families and residents. The pool typically operated from Memorial Day through Labor Day, offering a refreshing escape during the warm Colorado summers.

The pool was known to be a family-friendly facility that provided opportunities for swimming and water-based recreation. The pool's location within Lookout Park also offered visitors access to additional park amenities.
