Barnum East Park

Park Overview

Barnum East Park was named after P.T. Barnum (yes, the circus guy!), who once owned land in this area of Denver's Barnum neighborhood. The park spans a generous 60 acres of community space, making it one of the more substantial green spaces in the area.

The landscape is a pleasant mix of sprawling open fields and mature trees that provide welcome shade on sunny Colorado days. A paved walking path circles the entire park, making it easy to enjoy whether you're out for a stroll, jog, or bike ride.

The Barnum Recreation Center sits within the park grounds, offering additional activities and services for the community. During the warmer months, you can cool off in the outdoor pool - a refreshing treat on those hot Denver summer days.
