While the park offers many amenities, it's worth noting that there are no permanent bathroom facilities on-site, though a seasonal port-a-let is available for visitor convenience.
Recent Improvements
In 2024, Sunset Park underwent renovations to improve accessibility and safety. These upgrades included replacing the playground's safety surfacing with ADA-compliant engineered wood fiber and installing a fully ADA-compliant access ramp.
Additionally, two damaged spring toys were replaced with new, updated versions to ensure a safe play environment for children.
