Parents will appreciate the bench in the playground area that offers a spot to relax while keeping an eye on the kids.
Note that the park doesn't have permanent restrooms, but a seasonal port-a-let is available when you need it.
Recent Improvements
2024 brought some welcome upgrades to Sunset Park, focusing on making the space more inclusive and secure. The playground now features ADA-compliant engineered wood fiber as safety surfacing, along with a fully ADA-compliant access ramp ensuring everyone can enjoy what the park has to offer.
The renovation also included replacing two worn-out spring toys with fresh, updated versions, keeping the play environment both fun and safe for children.
