History and Location

Located in Hialeah, Florida, Cotson Park spans 4.28 acres of community-focused recreational space. This neighborhood location, once known as Seminola Park, was renamed to honor Johnny L. Cotson Sr., a dedicated African American activist who called the Seminola neighborhood home and made a lasting impact on the community.
