Situated in Miami Gardens, Florida, Lake Stevens Park spans 12 acres of green sanctuary. The park features an ADA-accessible children's playground that's ideal for little ones aged 2-12, with activities to keep them engaged and active. One of the best features? New Additions

In January 2022, Miami-Dade County kicked off some exciting improvements to the park. The most anticipated addition? A 1,885 square foot splash pad complete with an exterior shower and water play structure for those hot summer months.

The park is also getting a much-needed 1,562 square foot restroom building with a breezeway, storage room, custodial facilities, and a family restroom. This addresses what had been a major pain point for park-goers, especially parents with young children who previously had to cut visits short due to the lack of facilities.

The recent upgrades have brought some practical improvements to enhance your visit. Lighted walkways make evening strolls safer, while the 25-space parking lot includes three electric vehicle charging stations for eco-conscious visitors. The picnic shelter provides a wonderful spot for small gatherings, and the multipurpose sodded mound adds a touch of landscape variety.

Across the grounds, you'll find picnic tables, comfortable benches, recycling bins, and a convenient bottle filler/drinking fountain. The covered picnic areas with clean, spacious tables make this an ideal spot for family lunches or casual meetups. The irrigated landscaping helps maintain the grounds year-round.
