Playground Renovations
The park features a playground area, which is currently undergoing improvements. As of 2024, plans were in place for a new nature-based playground design, emphasizing native trees and plants to immerse families and children in a uniquely South Florida natural environment.
One of the notable features of the planned playground design is the use of native oolite stone for retaining walls. These walls are designed to evoke natural rock ridges found in the South Florida landscape and will serve dual purposes as seating and play elements.
