Behind the Scenes

This little green retreat is maintained by the City of Miami's Parks and Recreation Department, which oversees more than 150 parks throughout Miami.

Though it may have been a neighborhood fixture for years, the space was officially christened "South Shenandoah Mini Park" fairly recently - in 2019, when the Miami City Commission made it official through a city ordinance.
