Tucked away in Miami, Tropical Estates Park is that neighborhood park where locals gather and memories are made. There's a seasonal swimming pool that's consistently well-kept and clean - a great escape during those sweltering Florida summers. We appreciate that they've installed pool lifts, making sure everyone can enjoy a refreshing dip regardless of mobility challenges.

Kids will light up at the sight of the playground area, where they can burn off energy and make new friends. If you're into sports, grab your mitt and head to the softball field for an impromptu game or join one of the regular community matchups.

The Community Hub

Need a space for your next celebration? The park's community room is available for rent and works wonderfully for baby showers, birthday parties, and family get-togethers. It's spacious, air-conditioned (thank goodness!), and comes with clean restrooms nearby.

The staff are quite helpful - they'll guide you through setting up your event, offer decoration tips, and suggest layout options for your gathering. The space flows nicely between indoors and outdoors, so guests can easily wander between your event and the playground area.

Tropical Estates is maintained by the Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation Department, ensuring it stays in good shape year-round.

Programs for the Community

If you're looking for summer activities for your kids, check out the park's summer camp program. Running typically from June through August, it welcomes children ages 6-14 for a mix of outdoor fun, sports, creative arts projects, and exciting field trips.

Hours & Administration

You can visit the park office between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, if you need any information or assistance. The park itself welcomes visitors daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., giving you plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer.
