Al Coith Park

Location and Setting

Tucked just south of Downtown Orlando, Al Coith Park offers a peaceful green escape within the historic Cherokee neighborhood of Florida. This green space spans 6.3 acres of gently rolling hills covered in grass and dotted with mature oak and willow trees that provide shade on hot Florida days. It's the kind of place where the hustle of city life seems to fade away as soon as you step onto its grounds.

Recreation Opportunities

If you're looking to unwind, the spacious open fields are well-suited for spreading out a blanket and enjoying a leisurely picnic or simply lounging with a good book. For the active crowd, there's a well-maintained trail system that winds throughout the property. You'll often spot locals getting their steps in, whether they're jogging or biking along the paths. The outdoor fitness stations scattered along the trails allow you to mix cardio with strength exercises during your visit.

Water Features

The park features a small pond with a little bridge crossing over it. These water features add a peaceful element to the park - a nice spot to pause and enjoy the scenery.

Pet-Friendly Environment

Four-legged friends are welcome companions at Al Coith Park. While it's not officially designated as a dog park, the open spaces provide plenty of room for your pup to explore (on leash, of course). It's become something of a neighborhood gathering spot for dog owners, where both pets and their humans can enjoy some fresh air and social time.

You can enjoy all Al Coith Park has to offer from 6AM to 6PM daily - regardless of whether you're squeezing in an early morning jog before work or unwinding with an afternoon stroll.
