From the eastern shore of Lake Ivanhoe, you get some pretty amazing views of this 124-acre lake that represents the heart of the neighborhood. On any given day, you might spot water skiers carving through the wake, boaters drifting along, or paddleboarders finding their balance on the calm waters. Since the FWC has designated this as a residential lake, it maintains a relaxed, safe vibe for water activities.

Lake Ivanhoe Park, set just east of Orlando's busier corridors, offers a breath of fresh air amid the urban landscape. With its mix of shady spots and open areas, it's an excellent place to reset and recharge.

Get Moving or Just Unwind

If fishing is your thing, you're in luck. The shoreline offers decent spots to cast a line and try your luck with the local fish population. The narrow, tree-lined lawn that stretches along the water's edge makes for a lovely stroll, jog, or simply a place to appreciate nature's beauty right in the city.

Sometimes the best activity is just sitting quietly and soaking in the scenery. Several shaded benches nestled under magnificent Live Oaks line the waterfront, providing perfect perches to read a book, have a conversation, or simply watch the world go by.

A Paradise for Pups

Dog owners, take note - this park is a hit with the four-legged crowd. The spacious grassy areas give dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs and play, safely away from traffic. With the lake creating a natural boundary on three sides, it's a relatively secure environment for your furry friends to explore.

You can find thoughtful touches like water fountains and waste stations stocked with doggie bags, making it easy to keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone.

What You'll Find Here

A paved path meanders through the park, connecting to sidewalks at either end - ideal for daily walks with lake views that never get old. The park occupies a unique peninsula formed by Lake Ivanhoe Boulevard and the curving lakeshore, featuring open fields of tall grass that sway in the Florida breeze.

The amenities are simple but sufficient: trash cans and water fountains take care of the basics. While the park technically "closes" after dark, there aren't any gates. Street parking is available when you visit.
