For fishing enthusiasts, the pier stretching into Lake Maggiore is available. Recently repaired and ready for anglers year-round, it's also a prime spot to occasionally glimpse small alligators gliding through the water below - just keep a respectful distance!

Family-Friendly Fun

If you've got kids in tow, the huge playground is a definite highlight. Parents can breathe easy knowing it's fully fenced with just one entry/exit point. Inside, there's a variety of play structures for different ages, including swings and elements designed for wheelchair accessibility. One heads-up though: the artificial turf doesn't provide much shade, so those slides and climbing structures can heat up when the Florida sun is doing its thing.

Right next to the playground is a splash pad - conveniently located for children to enjoy both areas. It runs seasonally (typically April 1 through September 30, 9 AM to 8 PM), offering a refreshing escape during those sweltering summer days.

When hunger strikes, nine picnic shelters with grills stand ready for your outdoor feast. These come in various sizes and can be reserved for birthdays and special gatherings. You'll also find shade-covered spots scattered within the park - your skin will thank you for taking advantage of them.

Sports Options

Golf enthusiasts, take note: the park houses a peaceful driving range and putting green where you can work on your swing. The driving range operates on a self-service basis (yes, you'll need to collect your own balls), but the shaded setting makes practice quite pleasant.

Prefer water sports? A dedicated kayak and canoe launch gives you easy access to explore Lake Maggiore at your own pace.

Natural Surroundings

Take a moment to wander the short boardwalk extending over the marsh area. It offers some genuinely beautiful views of Lake Maggiore and chances to observe local wildlife going about their day. Keep your eyes peeled for various birds, scampering squirrels, and yes - those occasional alligators in their natural habitat.

Other Amenities

For those who don't want to skip workout day, outdoor fitness equipment stations let you get your exercise fix in the fresh air. Restroom facilities are available within the park, however be aware they sometimes get locked after certain hours.
