Dell Holmes Park

Dell Holmes Park is a 20-acre public recreational area located in St. Petersburg, Florida, situated along the shores of Lake Maggiore. The park offers a diverse range of outdoor activities and facilities for visitors of all ages.

The park features accessible, lighted recreation trails that wind through the area, providing opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling. A fishing pier extends into Lake Maggiore, allowing visitors to enjoy year-round fishing in the lake's waters.

For families and children, Dell Holmes Park boasts multiple playgrounds and a popular splash pad. The splash pad is operational seasonally, typically open from April 1 through September 30, between 9 AM and 8 PM.

Golf enthusiasts can take advantage of the park's driving range and putting green to practice their skills. For water sports enthusiasts, the park provides a kayak and canoe launch, enabling easy access to Lake Maggiore.

The park also includes several picnic areas, with nine shelters equipped with grills, offering visitors spaces for gatherings and outdoor meals. Shade-covered areas throughout the park provide respite from the Florida sun.

Dell Holmes Park is open from 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset, allowing visitors to enjoy the park's amenities throughout the day.
