About the Location
Natural Setting
22nd Street Park features a beautiful natural landscape with a stand of very old live oak trees. Some of these magnificent trees are estimated to be over 300 years old.
The park's scenic atmosphere is enhanced by its proximity to the Hillsborough River, creating a tranquil environment for visitors to enjoy.
Disc Golf Course
One of the main attractions is the park's 18-hole disc golf course. The course meanders through the giant oak trees in a creative layout, providing both challenge and beauty for disc golf enthusiasts.
The course consists of 9 baskets with 18 concrete tees, allowing for a full 18-hole experience. The mature trees contribute to the course's difficulty while also offering a serene environment for players.
Recreational Facilities
The park includes a ball diamond with dugouts, lights, and bleachers, making it suitable for baseball or softball games.
Large open grassy areas between the disc golf course and the ball field provide space for various recreational activities.
