At the heart of Coconut Park sits a stocked lake where you can pause to watch ducks paddle lazily and small fish dart beneath the surface. This 6-acre park just south of Northlake Boulevard in West Palm Beach spreads out peacefully around that aquatic centerpiece.

Wrapping around the lake is a 1/3 mile fitness trail - a smooth, paved asphalt path meant for your morning jog or afternoon stroll. Parts of the trail duck under tree coverage, offering welcome shade during those sunny Florida days.

Outdoor Recreation

Fancy a lakeside lunch? The park's picnic areas come equipped with grills, making it easy to turn a regular outing into a proper outdoor feast. If fishing is more your style, the fishing pier extends right into the lake, giving you a prime spot to cast your line and try your luck.

The walking path offers more than just a place to stroll - you'll find exercise stations along the way, with instructional signs for different workouts. Need a breather? Bench seating scattered throughout the trail offers perfect perches to sit back and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Getting Around

You'll come across the park pretty accessible, with a ramp leading up to the asphalt walking path that works well for strollers and wheelchairs. Just note that parking is somewhat limited near the ramp entrance, and bathroom facilities consist of a single porta-potty - nothing fancy, but it does the job.

As a public green space maintained by local authorities, Coconut Park provides a quiet retreat for West Palm Beach residents and visitors. The clean, well-maintained grounds offer a pleasant spot for walking your dog, getting some exercise, or simply taking a break from city life.
