The path through the Ala Wai Promenade is embraced by magnificent Chinese banyan trees (Ficus microcarpa) that create natural archways along your walk. This linear park runs alongside the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu, stretching about a third of a mile from Kalakaua Avenue to Ala Moana Boulevard and creating a pocket of calm in the heart of the city.
