Meadow Lake Park

Natural Features

The centerpiece of the park is Meadow Lake, a three-acre retention pond maintained for stormwater management. The lake has a maximum depth of eight feet and is surrounded by neatly mowed areas, making it accessible for shore fishing.

Water willow along the shoreline provides habitat for fish and wildlife but can make fishing more challenging. Largemouth bass, bluegill, and common carp are some of the fish species found in the lake, with specific fishing regulations applied within the park.

Recreational Amenities

The park caters to a variety of activities suitable for families and individuals. Recreational amenities include a basketball court, a playground, and open spaces that are suitable for informal sports or relaxation.

The wide fields of the park are particularly noted as an excellent spot for kite flying on windy days. While the lake itself is not equipped for boating, swimming, or picnicking, it remains a quiet spot for fishing and enjoying nature.
