Arrowhead Park is home to a newly renovated playground that's quite the upgrade for the neighborhood. The play area has two distinct play structures - one designed for little ones (ages 2-5) and another for older kids seeking more challenge. There's also a swing set with four swings total - two regular ones for bigger kids and two bucket seats for toddlers.

The park includes a baseball diamond with 60-foot baselines, suitable for youth games or batting practice. There are basketball courts available too for shooting hoops or pickup games. Soccer players haven't been forgotten either, with dedicated soccer fields where you can work on your footwork or enjoy a friendly match.

Seasonal Fun

In winter, Arrowhead becomes a popular local sledding destination. The hills are moderate - gentle enough for beginners while still offering excitement for more adventurous sledders. It's one of those quiet locations that locals flock to after a good snowfall.

Come warmer weather, those same hills become natural playgrounds where kids can burn off energy running up and down to their hearts' content - simple pleasures that somehow never get old!

Green Spaces & Pathways

The park offers plenty of open green spaces and multi-purpose fields that give everyone room to breathe. These areas allow kids to run freely, away from traffic.

The walking paths wind through the park, good for morning jogs or evening strolls. For those planning to spend a few hours, you'll find several picnic tables with benches scattered around the grounds - each comfortably seats about 4-5 people, good for a family lunch or small gathering.

The landscape includes water features - functional drainage basins and a small creek that flows through parts of the park.

Located in a quiet residential area, Arrowhead Park provides a peaceful setting. Its distance from busy streets makes it a particularly good choice if you're visiting with children and safety is on your mind.

Nature calls? You can find portable toilets in the parking lot near the soccer field - just a quick walk from the playground area.

Recent Updates

As of August 2024, the playground is sporting a fresh new look thanks to recent renovations. The Naperville Park District celebrated its reopening in August 2024.
