About Tall Grass Lakes Park
Peaceful Waters & Scenic Views
Situated in Naperville, Illinois, Tall Grass Lakes Park offers a little touch of nature amidst the suburban landscape. With its collection of serene ponds, this park provides an ideal escape when you need a moment of tranquility without venturing far from the city.
A smooth asphalt path winds along the water's edge, ideal for a morning jog, a leisurely afternoon walk, or a relaxing bike ride. As you make your way around, you'll be surrounded by the park's signature tall grass swaying gently in the breeze - a simple but beautiful touch that gives the park its distinctive character.
Cast a Line or Take a Stroll
Fancy trying your luck at fishing? The ponds are open for anglers, however you'll need to follow Illinois state fishing regulations. If you're between 16 and 65, don't forget to grab a valid fishing license from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources or a local shop before casting your line.
Just remember that all fishing activities need to comply with the Naperville Park District's guidelines outlined in Section 2.19 of Ordinance 641.
