West Lake Park

Park Overview

West Lake Park is a 620-acre multi-use recreational area located in Davenport, Iowa. The park features four lakes that offer opportunities for fishing and swimming. Two of these lakes have boat ramps and handicap-accessible fishing docks, providing anglers with the chance to catch bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish.

Beach and Water Activities

The park includes a sand beach area with volleyball courts, food concessions, and a fenced children's area. During the summer months, certified lifeguards are on duty to ensure visitor safety.

For those interested in boating, the park offers paddle boat and fishing boat rentals, allowing visitors to explore the lakes at their leisure.

Camping Options

West Lake Park caters to campers with two modern campgrounds that provide a range of options from non-electric sites to full-hookup sites with sewer connections. These campgrounds are suitable for both tent camping and RV use.
