Name Origin

Despite its name, Lake Dreamland Park does not actually contain a lake. The park's name is derived from the nearby Lake Dreamland neighborhood, which has an interesting history dating back to the 1930s when developer Ed Hartlage attempted to create a resort community around an artificial lake.
