Heymann Park is a 28-acre green space nestled in one of Lafayette's oldest neighborhoods and is part of the McComb-Veazey Cultural District. The park features rolling hills among lush greenery and towering trees, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Recreational Trails

Heymann Park is home to an 18-hole disc golf course, which has garnered attention for its unique layout. The course is known for its long open drives, with six holes over 400 feet in length.

The course also features some challenging low ceilings created by sprawling oak trees, adding an extra layer of difficulty for disc golf players.

Community Gathering Spaces

The park includes a full-size pavilion equipped with barbecue pits and restrooms, which needs to be reserved for use. This feature makes Heymann Park an ideal location for community gatherings, picnics, and outdoor events.
