A Green Oasis for Everyone

Located in Dearborn, Crowley Park spans 30 peaceful acres where recreation meets relaxation. The park recently underwent thoughtful upgrades focused on making outdoor fun accessible to people of all abilities - a refreshing approach in today's world.

Perhaps the most heartwarming addition is the park's first inclusive playscape, which opened on November 1, 2024. This wasn't just another playground installation - local families and the City's Disability Concerns Commission contributed their insights to create a space where every child feels welcome. The playground features equipment designed with accessibility in mind, and there's even a visual communication board to help all visitors connect and engage with their surroundings.

Places to Play

If you're bringing the kids, you're in luck - Crowley Park houses three separate play structures scattered throughout the grounds. The newer, larger playscape sits in a nicely shaded area, so you won't have to worry about the little ones overheating on sunny afternoons.

The playgrounds offer various swings and climbing equipment that keep children entertained for hours. Each area is well-maintained and clean, with one playground fenced in for extra peace of mind when watching active toddlers.

Beat the Heat

When summer temperatures climb, the park's popular splash pad becomes the place to be. Operating daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. during warmer months, it's a free and refreshing way for kids to cool down while parents keep watch. On hot July days, the splash pad becomes filled with children enjoying the cooling water features.

Get Moving

Sports enthusiasts will find plenty of options to stay active here. The park houses three soccer fields, tennis courts, a baseball/softball diamond, an inline skating rink, and sand volleyball courts. The multipurpose fields accommodate football and hockey games too.

For those who prefer a gentler workout, there's a 0.64-mile walking or jogging track looping through the park. It's become something of a morning ritual for many locals and their four-legged friends.

Comfort and Convenience

The park includes restrooms, drinking fountains, and parking areas. Four restroom facilities are distributed throughout the grounds, however note that not all may be open simultaneously except during special events or games.

Planning a gathering? The park offers numerous picnic tables and a large sheltered gazebo available for rent. Whether it's a graduation celebration or family reunion, the city will even provide extra garbage cans for your event.

The park is well-maintained with nice landscaping. The quiet neighborhood surrounding it creates a peaceful atmosphere away from the busier parts of the city.

Good to Know

You can find both street parking and a dedicated lot, however spaces can fill up quickly during soccer games and events. Dog owners will appreciate the dog waste bag stations located at the back of the park - a small but thoughtful touch.

Crowley Park welcomes visitors daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, with dedicated park staff working to keep the space clean and safe throughout the day.
