Historic Background
Wilcox Park is a 13.6-acre community park located in the Eastown neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Established after the 1911 park bond, it was named for F.P. Wilcox, who contributed funds for its expansion.
The park's original design was crafted by Eugene Goebel, who served as Grand Rapids Superintendent of Parks from 1905-1928. Over the decades, the park has evolved, replacing its initial bathhouse and pool with modern amenities.
Recreational Facilities
