If you're into pickleball, you'll find six dedicated outdoor pickleball courts that are popular with local players. There's a friendly community of players here, and you'll often catch impromptu games or regular meetups happening on the courts.

Not your thing? No worries. The park also houses a basketball court and two softball fields excellent for pickup games or team practices. Cricket enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated cricket pitch, while those looking for something more low-key can try their hand at the horseshoe pits.

The playground is popular with the younger crowd. Kids love scrambling across the bridges connecting different play sections and zooming down the various slides. Planning a family reunion or birthday bash? The park's spacious covered picnic shelter, built back in 1973 by the Bretton Woods Lions Club, is available for rental. Across the grounds, you'll come across plenty of picnic tables tucked under shade trees - ideal spots to enjoy a casual meal or simply sit back with a good book.

For those who prefer a more natural experience, the park connects to Hunter's Orchard Park via scenic trails. These wooded pathways and the proximity to the Grand River offer peaceful walks and moments of quiet exploration.

Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the ADA-compliant fishing platform, while paddlers can make use of the canoe launch to access the river. Just note that parking for vehicles with trailers can be limited. When winter blankets the area, a small sledding hill transforms the park into a cold-weather playground.

You'll come across modern, clean family-style individual restrooms that remain open year-round - a small but significant feature for any extended visit. There's also potable drinking water available and plenty of parking options, both paved and unpaved.

Planning a cookout? Make use of the park's grills for that perfect summer barbecue. Dog owners will be happy to know their furry friends are welcome, but do remember to clean up afterward.

For safety, an automated external defibrillator (AED) is maintained on-site - a thoughtful touch that hopefully never needs using.
