The recently resurfaced basketball courts and tennis courts are ready for your next game, but heads up - the basketball hoops have smaller-than-standard nets, so your ball might occasionally get stuck up there (basketball retrieval skills might come in handy!). There's also a multi-purpose field that's well-suited for everything from casual frisbee tosses to impromptu soccer matches.

Kid-Friendly Zone

If you've got little ones in tow, the playground area is a hit with the elementary school crowd (ages 5-12), but younger kiddos will find plenty to enjoy too. If you're planning an evening visit, you might want to arrive early as parking can fill up during peak hours. Daytime visits typically offer plenty of spots, though. Mature trees provide generous shade within the park - a blessing on hot summer days.

Note that there are no public restrooms available, so plan accordingly. The park does offer some nice extras including bike racks, good lighting for safety, and an adorable little free library where you can leave a book or take one home.
