Luxton Park, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a 4.49-acre neighborhood park in the Prospect Park – East River Road area. The park, originally named Prospect Field, was established in 1912 and later renamed in 1963 to honor George E. Luxton, a longtime reporter and community advocate.
The park features a variety of recreational facilities and amenities for visitors of all ages. It includes outdoor sports areas such as a soccer field, softball field, and a half-court basketball court. For younger visitors, there is a playground and tot lot with updated equipment, as well as a wading pool for hot summer days.
