The park features a playground currently undergoing planned renovations to improve accessibility and safety. Updates include new playground equipment, safety surfacing, and sidewalk access upgrades. These improvements are part of the city's broader effort to enhance local parks using referendum funds. The renovations also aim to resolve drainage issues that have affected the area. During the construction period, the playground will be temporarily unavailable for approximately four to five weeks.
