A Bit of History

If you're wondering about the name, there's a cool story behind it. The park was previously known as University Place Park until 2018, when it was renamed to honor the Seng family, particularly former Mayor Coleen Seng. She represented northeast Lincoln on the City Council from 1987 through 2003 before serving as Lincoln's 50th mayor from 2003 to 2007. Talk about leaving a legacy!

Natural Beauty

Deadman's Run creek flows right through the middle of the park, adding a serene natural element to your visit. There's a charming little bridge spanning the creek that connects different areas of the park - it's actually more delightful than it sounds! You can easily access the park via parking lots at both the north and south ends.
